Looking for an OR assignment with a weekday day-shift schedule and 36 guaranteed hours per week? Advantage Medical Professionals is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse for an 8–12-week travel contract in Hammond, Louisiana, with an anticipated late-October start.
Bring your surgical nursing skills to an assignment featuring a variety of procedures, including spine, orthopedics, and pain management.
Assignment Highlights

Travel Pay Package
- 40 hours worked: Estimated weekly gross of $2,250.80
- 36 hours worked: Estimated weekly gross of $2,150.32
- Taxable hourly rate: $25.12
- Weekly non-taxed stipends: $1,246 for eligible travelers
Weekly gross includes taxable wages and non-taxed stipends. Stipend eligibility depends on applicable tax-home requirements. Your recruiter will confirm your individual pay package.
Surgical Case Mix
The assignment includes spine, orthopedic, and pain management procedures, along with:
- Urology
- Endoscopy
- Cataracts
- Podiatry
- ENT
- Occasional general surgery
Candidate Qualifications
