Job Summary
Under direction of Manager: Oversee multi-client warehouse receiving process and operations of incoming goods, scheduling and communication, ensuring prompt receiving, maintain proper inventory records, staff recruitment and training while ensuring a safe and organized warehouse environment.
- Essential Job Functions
- Manage all aspects of receiving operations, including unloading inbound
- Sorting out the inventory to be received
- Assure prompt receiving and put away
- Schedule inbound with clients and or vendors
- Ensure accurate and prompt processing of incoming goods and compare to the packing list
- Examine all inbound and report any discrepancies to client and management
- Prepare detailed reports of inventory received and send to client and upper management,
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues with shipments.
- Ensure proper storage and movement of goods both physically and systematically
- Perform daily analysis to predict potential receiving delays
- Supervise hire, train and evaluate receiving staff, ensuring they follow procedures and maintain safety standards.
- Assign daily tasks and delegate responsibilities to receiving staff
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
