Welder/Fabricator

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication and welding, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role involves working with various materials, including sheet metal, and utilizing power tools and machinery to build high-quality products that meet industry standards and codes.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
• Fabricate components using various techniques, including welding, machining, and operating a press brake machine.
• Utilize precision measuring tools such as micrometers to ensure accuracy in fabrication processes.
• Assemble and build structures or components according to design specifications while adhering to safety standards.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet required codes and standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in welding and metal fabrication.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with various power tools and machinery used in fabrication processes.
• Strong understanding of codes and standards related to welding and fabrication.
• Experience working with sheet metal is preferred.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
