Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager/Supervisor to lead and oversee commercial and industrial HVAC projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong construction management skills, excellent project coordination abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of HVAC systems, blueprints, and construction site operations. This role requires a proactive leader capable of managing multiple projects, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering quality results on time and within budget.
Duties
- Lead and supervise HVAC construction projects, coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project objectives are met.
- Prepare and review construction estimates, budgets, and contracts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project scope.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to facilitate accurate installation and troubleshooting.
- Manage procurement processes utilizing estimating tools for materials and labor costs.
- Oversee daily site activities, enforce safety protocols, and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Coordinate project activities across multiple teams, monitor progress, resolve issues promptly, and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders.
- Manage project documentation including change orders, RFIs, submittals, and progress reports.
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule while maintaining high quality standards.
Skills
- Proven experience in HVAC construction management with a focus on HVAC systems.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating software.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Skilled in contract administration and negotiation.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to supervise teams on construction sites efficiently.
- Knowledge of construction site safety regulations and best practices.
