Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Chiropractic Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our chiropractic clinic, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of office management within a healthcare setting. Candidate with work closely with patients and perform chiropractic modalities on patients and take patient histories.
Duties
- Assist in managing patient flow and scheduling appointments to optimize clinic efficiency.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Perform insurance verification and handle patient payments.
- Provide administrative support including filing, data entry, and answering phones.
- Collaborate with the chiropractic team to facilitate/provide patient care and modalities like ultrasound, cold laser and electric muscle stimulation. Certified training is provided.
- Manage health information effectively to ensure the privacy and security of patient data.
- Assist with electronic health record systems such as Chirotouch for documentation and patient management.
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with any inquiries or concerns regarding their visits and/or patient balances.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a chiropractic assistant or in office management is preferred but not required.
- Willingness to comply with HIPAA regulations and medical collection processes is essential.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinic environment.
- Knowledge of insurance verification processes is a plus but can be taught on the job.
