This role provides clinical and administrative leadership to nursing staff, ensures adherence to regulatory standards, and promotes high-quality patient outcomes through supervision, coordination, and continuous quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Oversight
- Supervise and support nursing staff
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of:
- Nursing assessments
- Medication administration and documentation
- Detoxification protocols when appropriate
- Respond to and manage clinical escalations and medical emergencies
- Provide day-to-day supervision, guidance, and support to nursing staff
- Develop and manage staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide corrective action if needed
- Facilitate staff orientation, training, and ongoing competency evaluations
- Ensure nursing operations comply with all applicable state and federal regulations
- Maintain readiness for inspections by regulatory and accrediting bodies
- Monitor and enforce adherence to facility policies and procedures
- Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation
- Monitor and analyze incident reports, medication errors, and patient outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement and infection control monitoring
- Implement corrective actions and track performance improvement metrics
- Participate in treatment team meetings and care planning
- Coordinate care with medical and clinical staff
- Serve as a liaison between nursing staff and medical leadership
- Conduct chart audits and documentation reviews
- Oversee supply and medication inventory as needed
- Ensure proper incident reporting and follow-up
- Assist with policy development and implementation with medical leadership
Education & Licensure
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of3years of nursing experience
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience
- Experience in behavioral health, detoxification, or residential treatment
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Knowledge of detoxification and psychiatric care practices
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
- Working knowledge of regulatory standards and documentation requirements
- Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and computer use
- May require flexibility in schedule, including evenings, weekends, or on-call responsibilities

Salary : $100,000 - $114,400
