Position Overview
The Experienced Service-to-Sales BDC Representative at Advantage Dealer Group is responsible for converting Service customers into qualified Sales opportunities by proactively engaging customers before and after their Service visits. This role requires prior automotive experience and a strong understanding of Service and Sales workflows.
This is not a traditional Sales role and does not involve closing deals. The focus is on outbound communication, appointment setting, customer coordination, and clean handoffs between Service and Sales while protecting the Service experience.
Key Responsibilities

Proactively call Service customers prior to scheduled appointments to introduce appraisal and upgrade opportunities

Position Sales conversations only after the Service check-in process is complete

Coordinate directly with Sales management when a Service customer expresses interest

Set appraisal, upgrade, and Sales appointments tied to Service visits

Accurately document all customer interactions in the CRM under the Centralized BDC

Tag all activity as Service to Sales for tracking and reporting

Follow structured call windows and Centralized BDC processes

Support follow-up on declined Service, maintenance history, and post-visit opportunities
Required Qualifications

Previous automotive BDC, Sales, or Service experience required

Strong phone presence with a consultative, customer-first approach

Ability to handle objection-based conversations professionally

Experience working in a structured, process-driven environment

Comfortable using CRM systems with accurate documentation standards

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Experience

Service-to-Sales or Service retention experience

Familiarity with VinSolutions, Xtime, or similar platforms

Experience working within a centralized BDC model
Schedule and Expectations
