Effectively cleans, sanitizes departments utilizing the proper cleaning methods, equipment andchemicals. Includes cleaning of bathrooms, walls, windows, doors, floors. Washes walls, tables, benches. Refills soap and paper product dispensers. Cleans window coverings, such as drapes and blinds. Picks up paper and other debris from company grounds, walk areas, and the adjacent areas to thefacility. Performs emergency cleanup service resulting from day to day activities. Assists in reporting and preventing vandalism and safety concerns. Performs special custodial work on request and other related duties as assigned. Persons performing service in this position classification will exert 50 pounds of force frequently to lift,carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. This type of work may involve ascending and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and ramps and willinvolve walking or standing for extended periods. Body movements also include frequent bending,stooping, squatting, twisting, and reaching. Work may be done on irregular and often wet surfaces. Perceiving the nature of sound, near and far vision, depth perception, providing oral information, themanual dexterity to operate equipment and use hand tools, and handle and work with variousmaterials and objects are important aspects of this job. Exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions caused by weather may occasionally beexperienced. Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance, appearance and high degree of professionalism incommunication and attitude with customers, employees, corporate partners and vendors. Adhere to all local, federal, and state laws in addition to Company policies, procedures, and practices.These may include but are not limited to complying with the Companys Time & Attendance policy andprocedures and partnering with management to sustain workplace health and safety requirementsaccording to OSHA regulations and the Company safety guidelines. Performs any other duties that may be assigned by management.Qualifications High school diploma or its equivalent. 1-2 years of work experience. Must have valid driver's license. Cleaning Experience: 1 year (Required) Commercial Business Cleaning Experience: 1 year (Preferred) Prior experience with chemicals and their safety data sheets. Strong communication, customer service, time management and organizational skills A sense of hospitality, integrity, pride in your work and a love for cleanliness and organization. Extreme attention to the smallest detail. Initiative to take on tasks without being told and without being monitored. Education and work history that demonstrates work ethic and responsibility. Must have ability to work independently and as a team member. Must care about quality. Must be detailed oriented and work at an efficient pace. Must be reliable. Able to lift 50 lbs.
