Florence 1 Schools | Florence Regional Airport | Full-Time (190 Days)

Florence 1 Schools is seeking an experienced Aviation Maintenance Technologies Instructor to help launch our innovative School of Aviation located at the Florence Regional Airport. This unique opportunity allows you to prepare high school students for careers in aviation maintenance through hands-on instruction in a state-of-the-art hangar while helping build one of South Carolina's premier aviation education programs.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic Certificate.
  • Four to five (4–5) years of professional experience in aviation maintenance, military aviation, aerospace technologies, or a closely related field.
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, maintenance procedures, FAA regulations, and aviation safety.
  • Ability to qualify for South Carolina Career and Technical Education (CTE) certification (alternative certification pathways are available).
