This is a direct-hire opportunity with our client. The selected candidate will be employed directly by the MRI center and not through a staffing agency.
Job Summary
We are recruiting on behalf of an established outpatient MRI center in Hollis, Queens seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for full-time, part-time, and per diem direct-hire opportunities.
The selected candidate will become an employee of the MRI center and will work on-site operating a Hitachi Airis II MRI system, delivering exceptional patient care and high-quality diagnostic imaging services. Training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established protocols
- Operate and maintain the Hitachi Airis II MRI system
- Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout examinations
- Review and verify patient information and imaging requests
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Follow all facility, state, and regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care
Qualifications Required
- ARRT Certification
- MRI Certification
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced imaging environment
Available Schedules
- Full-Time
- Monday through Friday
- 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM
- 40 hours per week
- Alternating weekends
- Holiday availability as needed
Part-Time
- Flexible scheduling available
- Evening and weekend availability preferred
Per Diem
- Flexible, as-needed coverage

Compensation & Benefits
