Physician - 8600

Position Purpose: AdvandedHEALTH’s Physicians provide high quality medical care by examining patients and treating medical conditions. OB/GYNs care for women during pregnancy. Female only family practice physician interested in a women's only clinic.

Job Duties:

· Giving appropriate advice for healthy habits (diet, hygiene, etc.) and preventative actions to promote overall health

· Conducting routine check-ups on patients

· Monitoring and treating expecting mothers during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum

· Educating patients about disease prevention and detention, and reproductive health

· Reaching an informed diagnosis based on scientific knowledge and the patient’s medical history

· Prescribing and interpreting lab tests and imaging to obtain more information for underlying abnormalities

· Prescribing medications and providing comprehensive instructions for administration

· Collaborating with other physicians, mid-levels, and nurses to form a high performing medical team

· Keeping detailed medical records

· Cultivating a climate of trust and compassion for patients

· Primary care physician for women's only clinic

· Remaining up to date with continuous learning with developments and best practices in medicine

Skills and Abilities:

• Proven experience as a physician
• Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics
• Broad knowledge of common medication, side effects, and contradictions
• Compassionate and approachable
• In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medicine best practices
• Ability to exercise judgement and make decisions
• Excellent communication skills to communicate with patients, physicians, clients, coworkers, and management staff
• Ability to perform in a high productivity, fast-paced environment
• Ability to document accurately and concisely
• Excellent phone and computer skills
• Ability to maintain sensitive information in confidence
• HIPAA and OSHA knowledge

Position Requirements:

· Doctor of Medicine degree (MD)

· Female provider for a women's clinic

· Valid License to practice in this state

Machines/Equipment/Resources used:

· Computer

· Phone Skills

· Copier/Scanner/Fax machine

· iPhone or other phone with web access

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to stand for long periods of time

· Ability to sit periodically

· Ability to walk short distances within the office

· Ability to bend, kneel, and stoop

· Has a wide range of motion ability

· Ability to see and hear well

· Ability to lift patients with assistance of all sizes.

Pay: From $240,000.00 per year
