What You’ll Do
As our Director of Nursing, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our agency. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing clinical leadership and oversight of all nursing services.
- Supervising, mentoring, and supporting registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and other clinical staff.
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards, as well as agency policies.
- Overseeing patient care planning, clinical documentation, and quality assurance activities.
- Monitoring patient outcomes and implementing quality improvement initiatives.
- Participating in hiring, onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and staff development.
- Collaborating with physicians, case managers, therapists, and administrative staff to coordinate exceptional patient care.
- Managing staffing needs and ensuring efficient clinical operations.
- Maintaining survey readiness and supporting accreditation and regulatory compliance.
- Fostering a positive, collaborative, and patient-focused culture.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a compassionate and motivated leader with the following qualifications:
- A current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- A Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- A minimum of 2–5 years of nursing leadership or management experience.
- Proven experience in the home health setting.
- Strong knowledge of Medicare Conditions of Participation, state regulations, and home health documentation requirements.
- Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- The ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
