Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Installer/Technician to join our team. This role involves working in a manufacturing facility where you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various industrial systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and a solid understanding of hydraulics and HVAC systems. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial equipment and systems in compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for system diagnostics and repairs.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Work with hydraulic systems, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
- Provide technical sales support by understanding customer needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Perform HVAC/R installations and repairs, ensuring optimal performance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
- Operate scissor lifts safely while performing installation tasks at height.
- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate installations and repairs.
- Execute welding tasks as required, including
welding techniques. - Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or technician in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with a focus on industrial maintenance practices.
- Electrical experience including high voltage and low voltage systems is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with field service operations and customer service principles.
- Proficient in using ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools for analysis purposes.
- Military experience is a plus but not mandatory; candidates with relevant training are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems efficiently.

Pay: $30.96 - $35.06 per hour
