The Role: Service Technician
If you enjoy working with your hands, solving problems, and making customers happy — this is a great fit.
In this job you’ll:
- Service and repair windows, entry doors, patio doors, and siding
- Learn to bend and install aluminum trim and metal components
- Prepare tools, materials, and job sites before each project
- Keep detailed service records and measurements for parts
- Follow established safety procedures and company standards
- Maintain a clean, professional workspace at every job
- Hands-On Skill: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in home repair, carpentry, window/door work, siding, or related handyman/construction trades
- Tool Proficiency: Comfortable using power tools, ladders, tape measures, and construction equipment
- Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to troubleshoot issues and complete repairs correctly the first time
- Physical Capability: Able to lift 50 lbs, work on ladders, and handle outdoor conditions when needed
- Clean & Professional: Represents AWS well in customers’ homes — strong communication and customer service
- Detail-Driven: Follows measurements, instructions, and quality standards with precision
- Dependable Transportation: Reliable truck/vehicle to travel to assigned jobs
- Integrity: Strong work ethic, accountability, and pride in doing things the right way
