What are the responsibilities and job description for the REHAB TECHNICIAN position at Advanced Wellness?
Advanced Wellness, a multidisciplinary wellness center located in Marlboro, Freehold and Monroe, NJ, is searching for a rehab technician/aide to assist our physical therapy, occupational therapy and chiropractic departments in our Monroe location in a part time capacity on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Job Duties:
- Greets patients warmly, manages patient flow; helps to put patients at ease and allay fears. Assists in the application of heat/cold packs; assists patients onto exercise equipment, monitoring motion while performing prescribed exercises and strengthening techniques.
- Working closely with our chiropractors and therapists, educates patients by demonstrating proper use of equipment and exercise routines.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
- Must be mature minded, friendly, willing to work in a team environment and think independently.
