Advanced Veterinary Care (AVC) is a brand new state-of-the-art urgent care and specialty hospital located in the beautiful and always growing city of Orlando, Florida. As an Overnight Technician, you will: Urgent/Emergency Care: Administer medications, perform diagnostic tests (blood work, x-rays), assist in surgeries, and provide post-operative care. Patient Monitoring: Continuously monitor vital signs, patient records, and respond to changes or issues. Emergency Procedures: Provide CPR and other life-saving techniques when necessary. Patient Handling: Handle and restrain animals safely for examinations and treatments. Communication: Communicate with pet owners about their animal's condition and treatment plans. Environment Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, sterilize surgical instruments, and assist with intake and discharge. Equipment Management: Operate and maintain medical equipment like ventilators and IV pumps. Triage and Assessment: Conduct initial patient assessments and triage. Advanced Skills: Experience with anesthetic induction, monitoring, IV catheter placement, and advanced nursing care.
