As a Tree Climber, you’ll be responsible for executing precise tree trimming, pruning, and removal tasks while ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed. Responsibilities
- Safely ascend trees using climbing gear and rigging techniques to perform pruning, trimming, or removal operations.
- Operate bucket trucks and bucket lifts to access hard-to-reach areas efficiently and securely.
- Use rigging equipment to carefully lower branches or debris, minimizing impact on surrounding property or landscapes.
- Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including, planting, and general landscaping to support overall site health.
- Apply horticultural knowledge to identify tree health issues, diagnose problems, and recommend appropriate care solutions.
- Follow safety procedures rigorously during all operations to prevent accidents and ensure team well-being.Skills
- Proven experience in tree care, tree trimming, or arboriculture with growing knowledge of horticulture principles.
- Proficiency in rigging techniques for safe tree climbing and branch removal.
- Ability to operate bucket trucks, lifts, and other landscaping equipment confidently.
- Strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices including lawn care and general landscaping tasks.
- Experience with land surveying or land management tools is a plus but not required.
