WHAT A DAY AS OUR AUTOMOTIVE R&R TECHNICIAN LOOKS LIKE:
- Working from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday and 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM, Friday (start your weekend early!)
- Skillfully removing and reinstalling automatic and manual transmissions
- Working with drivetrain components like mounts, CV axles, drivelines, and transfer cases
- Using various tools and hands-on techniques to correctly diagnose the source of transmission issues
- Performing maintenance services like pan drops, fluid and filter changes, and external inspections
- Test-driving vehicles to verify customer concerns and confirm repairs
- Coordinating with builders and service advisors to support an efficient workflow
- Helping with additional tasks as needed, including cleaning the bay, organizing tools, and moving non-running vehicles in and out of the shop

- 2 years of hands-on experience as an R&R technician or a similar role
- Successful completion of 2 transmission removals and replacements in the past 2 months
- Ability to remove/replace a transmission in book time or less
- Ability to provide and use basic tools
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to lift heavy parts and keep up with a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license and the ability to operate FWD, RWD, AWD, and 4x4 vehicles
