Job Summary
Advanced Transmission Center is seeking an experienced R&R Technician / General Repair Technician who can independently diagnose and repair modern vehicles. This is not an entry-level position. You must have at least 5 years experience in a dealership or automotive shop setting. We are looking for a technician who can perform transmission removal and installation, drivability repairs, electrical diagnostics and general automotive repair. Our shop specializes in transmission and drivetrain repair, but we routinely diagnose complex vehicle issues.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes and powertrain components.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems effectively.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of automotive systems
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics software and schematics interpretation for accurate repairs.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools and other mechanical repair tools.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving abilities in diagnosing vehicle issues.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
