Position Overview: Responsible for routing, wiring, assembling, and installing electrical and electronic components in relay panels, terminal boxes, and console assemblies according to specifications using harness boards, hand tools, equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Reads drawings, specifications, and work instructions determine established assembly methods.
- Cut, tag, terminate wires to specified lengths using wire cutters and specified crimpers.
- Install conduit, mesh, heat shrink, braided sleeving, or other protective material over harnesses.
- Clean parts thoroughly.
- And other requested duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years of previous employment preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Knowledge of the metric system required
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
- Basic use of office technology including but not limited to computers, email, calculators, label makers, etc.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for the majority of the workday.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
