Ideal diesel technician candidates will have:
- 3 years of experience working on Class 8 or Heavy-duty diesel semis
- Be a self-starter
- Able to work both in a team environment or alone.
- It is important that you are able to listen, take directions and be an extra hand when needed.
- You should be able to multitask, solve problems and possess a high attention to detail.
- It is preferred if you have your own tools but it is not necessary.
Diesel Technicians will be responsible for:
- Troubleshooting issues and complete engine work
- Work on and resolve issues with transmissions
- Diesel repair and electrical repair
- Suspension inspections when necessary
- Help out in the shop where you are needed
