By mid-morning, you’re installing devices and fixtures, landing terminations in panels, and troubleshooting a stubborn circuit—always coordinating with school staff to keep the occupied facility safe and uninterrupted. That’s a typical day with Advanced Trade Services (ATS).
Project & Scope- Active school-site commercial electrical work in Jacksonville, FL
- New installations, upgrades, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Blueprint interpretation; panel work; device/fixture setting
- Conduit installation and low-voltage wiring
- Safe, efficient operations in occupied or semi-occupied environments
- Current JLA badge/clearance (or the ability to obtain promptly)
- 4 years of commercial electrical experience
- OSHA-10 certification or willingness to attain
- Journeyman, Master, or state certification preferred
- Start-of-day readiness for a 6:30 AM kickoff
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
- W-2 employment with weekly pay
- Consistent commercial assignments through ATS (nationwide trade staffing)
- Opportunity for additional placements following project completion
- Reliable transportation, able to pass drug screen and background check
