Part-Time LICSW / LMHC – Social Skills Group Clinician

Advanced Behavioral Health Group (ABHG), in partnership with Advanced TelePsych PLLC, is seeking an experienced Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to facilitate engaging, therapeutic social skills groups for children and adolescents.

This is a flexible, part-time opportunity for a clinician who enjoys helping young people strengthen social communication, emotional regulation, relationship-building, problem-solving, and cooperative skills in a supportive group environment.

We understand that many clinicians are balancing private practice, full-time employment, family commitments, or other professional responsibilities. We will work with the selected clinician's availability and build group schedules around mutually agreed-upon hours.

Most groups are expected to take place during late afternoon and evening hours.

What You'll Do

• Facilitate structured therapeutic social skills groups for various age groups.
• Create an engaging, supportive, and developmentally appropriate group environment.
• Help participants develop skills related to communication, cooperation, emotional regulation, problem-solving, peer relationships, and social interaction.
• Adapt group activities and interventions to participants' developmental and clinical needs.
• Monitor participant progress and group dynamics.
• Complete required clinical documentation accurately and on time.
• Communicate with families, caregivers, and members of the treatment team as appropriate.
• Collaborate with ABHG clinicians and leadership regarding group development and participant needs.
• Maintain professional, ethical, and clinical standards consistent with licensure requirements.

Schedule

• Part-time: approximately 2–10 hours per week
• Flexible scheduling based on clinician availability and program needs.
• Groups will be developed around mutually agreed-upon scheduling.
• Late afternoon and evening availability is especially desirable.

This opportunity may be a good fit for a licensed clinician looking to add a small number of consistent clinical hours to an existing schedule.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Massachusetts LICSW or LMHC license.
• Experience providing behavioral health or outpatient clinical services.
• Strong clinical communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to effectively facilitate therapeutic groups.
• Comfortable working with children, adolescents, and families.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with children and adolescents.
• Previous experience facilitating therapy, social skills, psychoeducational, or behavioral health groups.
• Experience supporting children with social, emotional, behavioral, or developmental needs.
• Familiarity with multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Compensation

$65.00 per hour

Expected schedule: 2–10 hours per week
