What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Supply Chain Planner position at Advanced Technology Search?
Our client is a leading maker of RF components for Infrastructure, Defense/Aerospace, and Photonics markets. They are currently seeking a Supply Chain Planner who will be responsible for generating and maintaining a supply plan for Contract Equipment Manufacturers in support of Master Production Schedule and Customer requirements.
- The ideal candidate will have a BS (Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or relevant degree) and 2-5 years or more of experience in Supply Chain Planning ideally within the Defense and Aerospace industry with a focus on RF/Microwave Modules.
- We need someone with working knowledge of ERP/MRP (SAP heavily preferred) who has come from a medium-to-high volume manufacturing environment.
- This role is 80% planning and 20% purchasing- there will be less of an emphasis on working with vendors and contractors as this individual will be working more with in-house manufacturing, customer service, and engineering.
- This is someone who will remain within manufacturing.
- The Supply Chain Planner will be working with the finished products but could also have a background working with assemblies, subassemblies, and modules.
- We need someone with a forthcoming personality, and a lot of energy.
- Must be Green Card Holder or U.S. citizen.
