RCS Mitigation Engineer

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful applicant will join ATR's Engineering Services Division, working as a team member at our government client site involved in Radar Cross Section (RCS) prediction, analysis, and design methods for the Navy. Other duties include, but not limited to:
Candidate must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance or favorable adjudication of a national security background investigation. Current completion of a successful background investigation is a plus.

The successful applicant will join ATR's Engineering Services Division, working as a team member at our government client site involved in Radar Cross Section (RCS) prediction, analysis, and design methods for the Navy. Other duties include, but not limited to:
- Produce geometry models for RCS simulation.
- Execute RCS simulations.
- Perform analysis of simulation results.
- Perform RCS component measurements
- Travel to perform ship checks
- Generate reports and briefs
- Minimum Bachelor degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering, or Physics
- Advanced degree is preferred.
- Prior Modeling and Simulation (M&S) experience.
- 2-3 years of experience with simulations and analysis
- Exposure to electromagnetics is a plus
- Proficiency in MATLAB.
- Proficiency with one or more standard industry CAD tools like Rhino, SolidWorks, or FEMAP.
- Ability to work in Linux and Windows OS
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing
- Ability to travel and support physical activities.
