THE OPPORTUNITY
As our Maintenance Technician, you’ll be at the heart of our operations — keeping our plating lines, chemical systems, and production equipment running safely and efficiently. You’ll work across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and controls systems in a dynamic, hands-on environment where no two days are exactly the same.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electroplating rectifiers, process tanks, pumps, filtration systems, conveyors, and chemical feed equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems (480V/240V/120V), control panels, PLCs, VFDs, and motor controls.
- Maintain and repair plumbing and piping systems (PVC & CPVC) used in chemical processing and wastewater treatment.
- Execute and document scheduled PM tasks using our Steelhead ERP System; maintain accurate work order and parts records.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns quickly and effectively to minimize production downtime.
- Support wastewater treatment system maintenance in compliance with environmental permits.
- Follow and enforce all safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Hazardous Waste Management, respiratory protection, and confined space protocols.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Required:
- 3 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or chemical processing environment is preferred.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (multimeter, schematics, control panels, motors, etc.).
- Solid mechanical background: pumps, motors, conveyors, gearboxes, and process equipment.
- Experience working safely with hazardous chemicals and compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Ability to read and utilize equipment manuals to install new or repair existing equipment.
- High school diploma or GED; technical/vocational training preferred.
Preferred — a bonus, not required:
- Experience in metal finishing, electroplating, anodizing, or chemical processing.
- PLC knowledge (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar).
- Experience with ERP or maintenance software.
- Welding or fabrication skills (MIG/TIG/stick).
- Electrical license (Journeyman or higher).
- OSHA 10/30, forklift certification, or confined space training.
