Business Analyst

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. Proven experience developing creative design solutions in manufacturing environments aligned to Lean and Systems integrations. This position is intended to support Corporate digital factory initiatives, service and marketing areas by creating a collaborative environment in all company cross-functional organizations.

Responsibilities

• Under minimal supervision gather business requirements and participate in the support and delivery of business solutions.
• Perform data analysis, extraction, and delivery activities. Support the execution of information, and data.
• Work to resolve issues and seek guidance from team members on escalated issues.
• Serve as a resource and contribute to the achievement of team/organization goals.
• Align the functionality of complex Enterprise Applications with organizational business needs. Ensure that the Application results in significant process improvements

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role with a focus on data analysis and project management.
• Collaborate with functional area management and end-users to develop and document detailed business requirements.
• Assist in the creation of Business Tools based on business needs and current information infrastructure.
• Work with Business Unit & BTC Teams to establish business requirements into reporting specifications, including user interfaces, inputs, input validation rules, processing logic and outputs.
• Define the Business Utility interface requirements with Legacy Systems and IT databases (EDW, BUAD, BW).
• Monitor report and utility failures and develop recovery processes and procedures.
• Create all documentation necessary to the proper use of the application: user guides, operating procedures, etc.
• Assist end-users with the day-to-day use of the reports and ensure that operating procedures are communicated, understood and complied with.
• Investigate end-user issues and provide detailed documentation to help troubleshoot and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Keep abreast of new system database technologies and data extraction techniques and practices. Make recommendations as appropriate.
• Interface with vendor and Corporate I/T personnel to ensure that the Application's functionality is delivered in accordance with specified requirements.
• Develop detailed test scripts and conduct rigorous tests to ensure that the Application functionality and performance are in compliance with business requirements.
