POSTED ON 8/26/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 9/23/2026

We are seeking a Product Manager for a permanent opportunity. The Product Manager, Mid-Market Legal helps shape how mid-market law firms run their practices. This role owns product initiatives that serve growing, multi-practice firms with more sophisticated needs around workflows, permissions, reporting, and integrations. Working at the intersection of legal operations, practice management, and modern SaaS, the Product Manager translates the realities of how mid-market firms work into products they rely on every day.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Champion the Mid-Market Segment: Contribute insights and ideas that advance our vision for serving mid-market law firms, and act as the internal voice of this segment across product, engineering, and go-to-market teams.
  • Collaborate on a Product-Led Strategy: Work with senior product leadership to shape the roadmap and long-term vision for the mid-market segment, balancing its needs against SMB and enterprise priorities, and prioritize initiatives in alignment with broader product strategies.
  • Enhance Firm Workflows: Identify and refine high-priority features that improve core workflows for mid-market firms, including matter management, billing, reporting, and business intelligence.
  • Product Ownership: Take ownership of specific mid-market features and capabilities throughout the product lifecycle, from discovery and design to delivery, stakeholder adoption, and ongoing iteration.
  • Integration Partner Roadmap: Identify integration and partnership opportunities that matter most to mid-market firms, and manage the product definition and requirements needed to deliver them.
  • Customer Discovery: Engage proactively with customers, internal teams, and industry partners to understand the pain points of mid-market firm administrators, attorneys, and staff, uncover opportunities, and validate solutions.
  • Backlog Management: Translate strategic priorities into actionable user stories, manage the backlog effectively, and ensure timely delivery of measurable outcomes.
  • Data-Driven Innovation: Set clear success metrics for your product area and leverage data insights to inform prioritization, enhancements, and iterations.
  • Lead Business Analyst Collaboration: Work closely with the Business Analyst on your projects, providing direction, reviewing outcomes, and ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, design, and other teams (marketing, sales, customer success) to deliver cohesive solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and retention within the mid-market segment.
  • Market Awareness: Stay informed of trends in legal tech, SaaS, and AI to ensure our mid-market offering remains industry leading against competitors serving this segment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 years of experience as a Product Manager in a SaaS or technology-driven company, with a proven ability to build products that empower workflows and decision-making for professional users.
  • Experience building products for mid-market B2B customers, with an understanding of how their needs differ from SMB and enterprise, including multi-user roles and permissions, approval workflows, reporting, and administrative controls.
  • Proven track record of driving product success from ideation to delivery, with measurable outcomes such as increased user adoption, retention, revenue growth, or customer satisfaction.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with experience leveraging product analytics tools like Amplitude, Mixpanel, or GA4 to make data-informed decisions and iterate quickly.
  • Strong communication skills, naturally skilled at aligning cross-functional teams and engaging senior stakeholders, with the ability to persuade and inspire.
  • A relentless focus on customer needs, especially in simplifying complex workflows for professionals navigating intricate processes.
  • Passion for innovation, excited by the opportunity to push boundaries in practice management, reporting, and dashboarding solutions.
  • Knowledge and experience with AI-driven product development, including experience leveraging tools like Claude, V0/Vercel, Replit, and Figma.
  • This position follows established policies and procedures to keep confidential information secure.

Additional Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with the operational realities of mid-market law firms, including trust accounting and compliance, billing complexity, practice-area specialization, and the role of firm administrators and operations staff in purchasing decisions.
  • Awareness of emerging trends in legal tech, SaaS, AI-powered solutions, and data visualization, with a passion for staying ahead of the curve and shaping industry standards.
  • Expertise in Agile/Scrum development methodologies, paired with an ability to collaborate closely with engineering, design, and business teams.
