Role Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Professional Engineer (PE) who can take mechanical design projects from initial concept through final construction documents and field support. The role centers on central plant renovations, pharmaceutical and cleanroom HVAC systems, and other technically demanding environments where reliability, compliance, and constructability matter.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical engineering design for renovation and retrofit projects, including chilled water plants, boiler systems, and HVAC upgrades.
- Perform site assessments, field verification, and construction-phase visits to evaluate existing conditions and coordinate with contractors.
- Develop complete construction document packages: plans, specifications, details, schedules, and calculations.
- Design HVAC systems for pharmaceutical and cleanroom facilities, including environmental control, pressurization, contamination control, and code compliance.
- Produce mechanical load calculations, equipment selection, and system modeling.
Key Responsibilities
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license (Mechanical).
- Strong experience with HVAC and central plant systems (chillers, cooling towers, pumps, boilers, etc.).
- Ability to perform detailed site visits, field measurements, and existing system evaluations.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit; familiarity with load calculation software.
