Part-Time Perioperative Nurse (Pre-Op / PACU / Phase II)
Schedule: 3-5 days a month - Days are sporadic
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Perioperative RN to join our Surgery Center team. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in Pre-Op, PACU, and Phase II recovery. No weekends, holidays, on call, and late evenings.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred)
- Current Wisconsin RN license
- 2 years recent PACU or Pre-Op experience preferred
- Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide pre- and post-procedure patient care
- Assess patients and develop individualized care plans
- Monitor patients receiving moderate sedation
- Assist physicians and procedural staff as needed
- Provide patient and family education
- Maintain infection control and safety standards
- Respond effectively in emergency situations
