What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Concrete Finisher position at Advanced Striping and Sealcoating?
Concrete Finisher-We do a lot of small jobs, so it is not just finishing. The crew has 5 guys so everyone is responsible for all aspects at times, from setting forms to cleaning up. Pay is based on experience, work ethic and skill level.
Advanced Striping and Sealcoating is looking for an efficient, hardworking individual with experience in concrete to join our team!
Advanced Striping and Sealcoating is looking for a Concrete finisher, with at least 2 years of verifiable experience in all concrete finishing techniques. Must have valid driver's license with insurable driving record.

Responsibilities:
- Must comply with Company core values.
- Understand & comply with all Company policies and safety procedures.
- Responsible for cleaning equipment and tools used for finishing slabs.
- Perform additional tasks/duties as assigned by the foreman.
- Communicate with the foreman on any issues that arise during the project.
- Jobs may entail, but are not limited to, bull-floating, power troweling, brooming, nailing of forms, final grading of sand or gravel, placing and tying of rebar, shoveling of sand or gravel, scraping down of wood forms and screed boards, raking and leveling of concrete, sealing of slabs, operating a skid steer, cutting control joints, running a compactor, and finishing concrete in a various of ways.
- Saw-cutting concrete, removal of forms, and backfill as needed.
- Concrete Finisher may perform functions similar to a laborer.
- Signaling to truck drivers and moving chutes to facilitate pouring concrete into forms.
- Supervising and training workers to help them use tools to help install and finish concrete.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not required
- Move throughout a construction jobsite which includes minor obstacles including climbing ladders and inclines, operating heavy equipment, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Heavy physical activity performing strenuous day activities of a primarily productive / technical nature.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to reach / handle items and work with the fingers and perceives attributes of objects and materials.
- Work outdoors with exposure to changing weather conditions such as rain, sun and wind.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
