Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sports Physical Therapist role based in Wellesley Hills, MA. The Sports Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat patients with sports-related injuries and orthopedic conditions, developing individualized plans of care that support safe return to activity. Daily responsibilities include performing comprehensive assessments, designing and progressing therapeutic exercise and manual therapy programs, educating patients on injury prevention and self-management, and documenting all care in accordance with professional and regulatory standards. The role also involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals, communicating clearly with patients and families, and contributing to a positive, patient-centered clinic culture.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Physical Therapy assessment and treatment within a sports or orthopedic setting.
- Ability to design and implement Injury Prevention programs tailored to athletic and active populations.
- Proficiency in Strength & Conditioning principles to support safe, progressive rehabilitation.
- Knowledge of Orthopedics, including common sports injuries and post-surgical rehabilitation protocols.
- Strong Patient Care skills, including clear communication, empathy, and collaborative goal setting.
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
- Active Massachusetts Physical Therapy license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date).
- Experience working with athletes or active individuals in outpatient or sports medicine settings is preferred.
- Ability to work independently, manage a caseload efficiently, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
