Role Description
This is a full-time clinic-based role for an Orthopedic Spine Medical Assistant NCT. Based in Southlake, TX. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for tasks such as assisting with patient care, managing medical records, applying medical assisting practices and knowledge of medical terminology, and supporting the efficient operation of the medical office. Additionally, working directly with patients and ensuring their comfort and safety are key components of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Medical Assisting, including preparing patients for exams and assisting with procedures.
- Strong knowledge of Medical Terminology essential for effective communication with healthcare providers and patients.
- Experience in a Medical Office, including scheduling appointments and managing workflow.
- Ability to handle Patient Care responsibilities, ensuring comfort and addressing patient concerns with professionalism.
- Experience maintaining and updating Medical Records accurately and securely.
- Excellent organization, multitasking abilities, and attention to detail.
- Certification as a Non-Certified Technician (NCT) is preferred.
- CPR certification and prior experience in orthopedic or spine care are a plus.
