Registered Nurse - Infusion
Duties:
- Administer infusion therapy treatments to patients in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
- Monitor patients during infusion therapy to ensure safety and effectiveness of treatment
- Assess and document patient response to infusion therapy, including vital signs, symptoms, and any adverse reactions.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients receiving infusion therapy.
- Provide patient education regarding infusion therapy, including medication administration, potential side effects, and self-care measures
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records related to infusion therapy treatments.
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience. Preferably in an ER, ICU, infusion center or with home infusion. Strong IV skills are a must.
- Knowledge of sterile processing techniques and infection control practices
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Experience working with children is a plus
