Advanced Solar Products is currently seeking a full-time PV Solar Junior Service Technician.
Primary Responsibilities
· Tech will assist with troubleshooting and performing corrective maintenance on various commercial PV sites.
· Assisting with system commissioning for our customers (Examples; testing DC voltage and current in inverters and combiner boxes and performing tests of irradiance and cell temperatures.)
· Documenting measurements taken during system commissioning.
· Handle last-minute changes to the schedule to complete each service call in a timely manner.
· Provide a report of pictures and documentation upon completion on each service call.
· Various work AC and DC electrically
· Identify installation deficiencies.
· Remove and replace solar PV systems.
· Remedy solar inverter issues
· Practice and adhere to safety and training.
Minimum Qualifications
· Read and analyze PV single line diagram/Site drawings.
· Research and analyze various problems that may occur on PV arrays and inverters.
· Excellent phone and email communications skills
· Must be able to lift 40 to 70 LBS.
· 2 years’ Experience with installation or PV technical experience
· Valid Driver’s license
· Must be willing and able to climb ladders, stairs and roof tops.
· Experience with hand tools, power tools multimeter
· Must be able to receive shipment deliveries.
