Senior AI Full Stack Engineer
Early Clinical Development (CDI&A)
đź“Ť Location: South San Francisco, hybrid - 3 days onsite/2 days remote
Client is seeking several Senior AI Full Stack Engineer to build and scale AI-powered software that supports clinical development. You’ll work at the intersection of full-stack engineering and generative AI, collaborating with AI scientists and clinical partners to deliver real-world impact in healthcare.
What You’ll Do
- Build and deploy full-stack applications powered by LLMs and generative AI
- Design intuitive UIs and scalable backend services (APIs, data pipelines)
- Implement AI-driven features such as chatbots, RAG systems, and AI-assisted automation
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, data scientists, and product partners
- Own production deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement
Skills required:
- 5 years of full-stack development experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or
a related field.
- Strong skills in Python (FastAPI/Django) and Vue.js or React
- Experience building and deploying AI/LLM-powered applications
- Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS), and automated testing
- Comfortable designing scalable, production-grade systems
- Exposure to healthcare, life sciences, or regulated environments
Nice to Have
- Experience with LangChain, Hugging Face, or LLM agents
- Office.js / Word add-ins, WebSockets, or real-time collaboration technology
