Duties
- Monitor entrances, exits, and designated areas to control access and prevent unauthorized entry
- Conduct thorough inspections of attendees, staff, vendors, and equipment to ensure safety compliance
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies by implementing conflict management protocols and coordinating with emergency responders when necessary
- Enforce event policies and procedures to promote a safe environment for everyone involved
- Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and visitor movements throughout each shift
Skills
- First aid certification and CPR training to handle medical emergencies confidently
- Background in law enforcement, military service, or security roles that demonstrate discipline and situational awareness
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations calmly and effectively
- Familiarity with security equipment such as metal detectors, scanners, or other access control tools
- Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining professionalism and positive interaction with guests
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
