Job Title : Occupational Medicine Physician Assistant (PA) / Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Location : West Midtown, GA

Employment Type : Full-Time or Part-Time (3-5 days per week)

About the Role :

We’re seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a high-volume, independent occupational medicine practice. This role is best suited for someone with a strong clinical background in ER, Internal Medicine, Occupational Medicine, Primary Care, Family Medicine, or similar fields.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct DOT physicals —trucking companies will send drivers for evaluations.
  • Perform dive physicals for aquarium staff as part of job-related screenings.
  • Administer fit testing
  • Oversee pre-employment drug testing and occupational health screenings.
  • Work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Experience :

  • Not a new graduate position unless you’ve completed a rotation in occupational medicine or a related field.
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to work autonomously.
  • Able to assess patient situations with a keen eye.
  • Ability (or willingness) to sit for the DOT exam if not already certified.
  • Experience handling high patient volumes efficiently.

  • Target start date : Mid to late February 2025.
  • Rotating on-call (telemed)
