Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Social Services Director to lead our social services team in providing individualized care and support to our residents. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing social services programs, coordinating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement social services programs that promote resident well-being, independence, and quality of life
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to identify resident needs and develop comprehensive care plans
- Conduct social assessments, develop plans of care, and provide supportive services to residents
- Coordinate with family members and caregivers to ensure effective communication and support
- Supervise and mentor social services staff to provide exceptional resident care
- Maintain accurate records and reports, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and services
Requirements:
- 1 years of experience in social services or a related field
- Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising social services staff
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
