Position OverviewWe’re looking for a Project Manager who can confidently take ownership of multiple reconstruction projects from start to finish. This role requires someone who understands the technical side of waterproofing and roofing, but just as importantly, someone who can operate independently, solve problems in real time, and keep projects moving forward.
Key Responsibilities- Manage projects from contract through closeout
- Build and manage schedules, budgets, and forecasts using Buildertrend
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal field teams
- Oversee technically detailed scopes, including:
- Building envelope and water intrusion repairs
- Deck coatings and below-grade waterproofing
- Low-slope and steep-slope roofing systems
- Structural concrete repairs and expansion joints
- Identify and solve problems proactively in the field and on paper
- Maintain clear, consistent communication with clients and stakeholders
- Run project meetings and keep all parties aligned
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and documentation using Buildertrend
- Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to specifications
- Coordinate and attend meetings with building inspectors
- Attend weekly production meetings with team
- Plan reading and general understanding of construction documents
- 3–7 years of experience in construction project management
- Hands-on experience with waterproofing, concrete restoration and/or roofing systems (required)
- Background in reconstruction, restoration, or exterior envelope work preferred
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Flashing details, drainage, and moisture management
- Roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen, shingles, etc.)
- Ability to manage multiple projects without constant direction
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Clear communicator who can manage clients, subs, and internal teams
- Proficiency with project management software (Buildertrend)
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
- You take ownership and follow through without being asked
- You’re organized, but flexible when things inevitably change
- You don’t get stuck on problems—you solve them and keep all parties informed of cost implications and schedule changes
