Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Radiology Scheduler to manage daily schedules for our radiology department. This role is critical in ensuring that doctors are assigned for all shifts during business hours and that there are no gaps in the schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain a comprehensive daily schedule for radiologist, ensuring coverage during all business hours.
- Monitor and fill any scheduling gaps promptly to optimize workflow.
- Communicate effectively with doctors and hospital staff to coordinate schedules and address any conflicts.
- Ensure all shifts are adequately staffed to meet hospital coverage requirements (including nights, weekends, and holidays)
- Track provider availability, PTO requests, and schedule preferences.
- Maintain accurate scheduling records and documentation
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in scheduling, preferably in a healthcare or radiology setting.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with medical staff and ensure smooth operations.
