LIHTC ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER - (Santa Ana, CA)
A property management company is seeking an experienced assistant property manager for a multi-site 144-unit apartment community located in Santa Ana, CA. The right candidate will be energetic with excellent customer service skills. Experience in property management and the Low Income Housing Tax Credit program are required. Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
Responsibilities include:
- Adherence to Fair Housing Laws
- Customer Service
- Rent Collection
- Preparation of correspondence such as rent charges, eviction notices, etc.
- Income and Asset Certification of all residents prior to moving in and annually thereafter
- Maintain confidentiality
- Maintain High Occupancy Level
- Enforce Rules & Regulations for fellow employees and all residents
- Repair & Maintenance reporting and follow up
- Keeps property looking clean and maintained
- Respond to emergencies
- Conduct unit inspections
- Complete weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual reporting
- Maintains constant communication with main office and can travel to Tustin, CA
- Commits to the values and principles of the company

Experience:
- Multifamily property management (minimum of 2 years) with LIHTC program (Required)
- Property Management (2 years, Preferred)
- Tax Credit Specialist (TCS), or equivalent (Preferred)
- California Certified Residential Manager Certification (CCRM), or equivalent (Prefereed)
- Personnel Management (2 years, Preferred)
- Yardi Voyager (Preferred)
- Microsoft Office (Required)
- **Must be bilingual in English & Spanish
