Leasing Consultant in Property Management

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Leasing Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our operations, particularly in the leasing and property management sector. This position requires strong organizational skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The Leasing Consultant will be responsible for ensuring smooth administrative processes while adhering to Fair Housing regulations and other relevant guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the property management and leasing team, ensuring efficient operations.
• Maintain accurate files and records, including tenant information and lease agreements.
• Assist with data entry tasks, ensuring all information is up-to-date and correctly documented.
• Manage customer relationship management (CRM) systems to track interactions with tenants and prospects.
• Support upselling efforts by providing information on available units and amenities to potential tenants.
• Familiarize yourself with Fair Housing regulations, Section 8, and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) programs to ensure compliance in all communications.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems for tracking maintenance requests and scheduling repairs.
• Assist in preparing reports and presentations as needed for management meetings.

Requirements

• Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within property management or real estate environments.
• Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in data entry and familiarity with CRM software.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations, Section 8, LIHTC, and general property management practices is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail is essential for maintaining accurate records and files.
