The Scheduler/Dispatcher is responsible for ensuring all security posts are staffed with properly trained personnel, managing day-to-day scheduling needs, dispatching guards in real time, and responding to last-minute coverage issues. This role is critical in maintaining client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain weekly/monthly guard schedules for multiple client sites
- Dispatch security personnel to assigned locations promptly and accurately
- Monitor attendance, call-outs, and shift confirmations
- Respond to staffing emergencies and adjust schedules in real time
- Maintain clear communication with guards, supervisors, and clients
- Ensure coverage complies with labor laws, licensing requirements, and company policies
- Maintain up-to-date records of guard availability, time-off requests, and incidents
- Collaborate with recruitment and HR for onboarding and scheduling new hires
- Use scheduling and dispatch software effectively (e.g., TrackTik, WhenIWork, or similar)
- 2 years of experience in scheduling, dispatching, or coordinating staff (security industry preferred)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays if required
