What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Technician position at Advanced Production and Design?
APAD is hiring full time Event Technicians From concerts, galas, theater, festivals, and everything in between, we make events come to life. If you love live shows, creative teamwork, and opportunities to travel, then you'll fit right in.
We're looking for reliable, hands-on people to join our crew. Every day is different one day you're setting lights for a band, the next you're building a stage or helping run a show.
What You'll Do:
- Set up, operate, and break down lighting, sound, video, and staging gear
- Support event leads and help keep everything running smoothly
- Troubleshoot, stay organized, and bring great energy
- Work closely with teammates, clients, and performers
What We're Looking For:
- A passion for live events and production
- Great attitude and communication skills
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and travel occasionally
- Able to lift (minimum 50 pounds) and move equipment (we promise it's worth it)
- Experience with AV or lighting gear is a plus
