About APC:

Advanced Precast Company (APC) is a precast concrete manufacturing facility located in Dyersville, Iowa. APC produces various concrete wall panels for architectural and structural facilities located throughout the Midwest.

Job Summary: Work in a collaborative team-oriented environment to provide safe and efficient transportation of APC precast products to jobsites across Iowa and surrounding states. The following duties are typical for this job. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely operate trucks, semis, and other equipment according to federal, state, and company regulations.
• Complete all pre-and post-trip inspections according to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
• Communicate with maintenance and dispatch regarding equipment condition.
• Document and perform all checks and inspections according to DOT requirements.
• Safely maneuver semi at locations to load and unload APC products.
• Complete all forms, tickets, and required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Perform annual services and inspections to semis, trucks, and other equipment.
• Flexibility to haul to locations, both in-state and out-of-state, with a variation of materials and products.
• Maintain a clean interior and exterior of trucks, semis, and other equipment
• Flexibility to occasionally stay overnight on some deliveries if desired.

• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules, including last-minute requests and irregular hours, to meet project demands.
• Ability to accommodate unexpected shifts and work on short notice

Education and Experience Qualifications:

• Class A CDL with Airbrakes and Tank Endorsements and Medical Certificate preferred
• Ability to pass DOT annual inspection

Physical Requirements:

• Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas.
• Must be able to life and carry at least 50 pounds at a time.
