What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift Extrusion position position at Advanced Plastic Recycling?
Operators work 8 hr. shifts Monday thru Friday.
Employees can earn up to $4000.00 per year profit sharing.
Extruder operators are responsible for maintaining all aspects of a plastic reprocessing line.
a) Operators will hand feed material into a batch operation that feeds an extruder.
b) Review extruder parameters for correct settings.
c) Check quality of material being produced.
d) Weigh, label, and record all finished material.
e) keep work area clean and organized.
Continuously handles, lifts, and maneuvers plastic films and sheeting in loose, bagged, or roll forms weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the 8-hour shift. Must be capable of performing physical tasks safely, including bending, stooping, and reaching while handling loads."and have good time management skills. Overtime is available, but not mandatory. Employees with good production, attendance, teamwork, and quality reviews can earn two separate profit sharing payments of $2000.00. which are paid out in June and December. Full time employees receive Paid holidays, vacation, and personal time. Quarterly raises by evaluation of performance. New employees can earn a $1000 attendance bonus in thier first 90 day by having perfect attendance. The 2nd shift hours are 1:45 pm to 10:00 pm Monday - Friday
