What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Care Representative position at Advanced Physical Therapy?
Advanced Physical Therapy located in Wolcott, CT is looking to hire a part time patient care representative. The ideal candidate is available afternoon hours. The Patient Care Representative works directly under the supervision of the site manager. Their primary role is to act as an advocate for the patient to ensure that the patient has the best experience possible while coming to physical therapy.

Primary Responsibilities:
- scheduling patients
- sharing and explaining insurance benefit information with the patient
- surveying and tracking patients to identify successes and areas where a patient needs a little more support
- interacting with our team of physical therapists to ensure the best experience for our patients
- leading in office tasks to help improve patient engagement with staff
- communicating daily with our the front desk coordinator to gather any necessary administrative updates for the patient
- sharing office highlights and success stories on our company social media sites
- identifying community events that may be a good opportunity for our team of physical therapists to share their talents outside of our office with the community
