Advanced Pharmaceutical Consultants, Inc is a pharmacy management company that specializes in behavioral health and drug treatment centers by providing pharmacists, technicians, automation as well as expertise. We are currently seeking an experienced hospital pharmacy technician to join our team at a behavioral hospital in Charlestion, WV. This is a full time position for Monday - Friday, 30 hours/week, benefit eligible.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Automated Dispensing Machines Preferred.
- Hospital Experience preferred.
- Current West Virginia pharmacy technician license
DUTIES:
- Unit dosing of oral medications;
- Inventory Control functions: checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed medications and supplies;
- placing orders with vendors, verifying receipt;
- removing outdated drugs;
- Ensures medication availability by maintaining/stocking Automated Dispensing Machines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
