JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Material Processor
Department: Material
JOB PURPOSE
As a Material Processor, you will play a critical role in supporting the production of our products by systemically and physically processing various types of materials for use in manufacturing. Material Processors manage, sort, and categorize raw materials, ensuring their optimal use in production.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY
- Operate equipment including pelletizer, powder king, grinder, and other material handling equipment.
- Work with hazardous materials while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Process and move material to designated locations.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Identify and communicate material shortfalls to management.
- Check incoming deliveries to make sure all are ordered.
- Process and sort material for recycling or disposal
- Operate machinery and equipment to shred, grind, or compact materials.
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of equipment as needed.
- Communicate and collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Additional related duties as assigned
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
Required: One (1) or more years of experience with materials, or a related field.

Required:
- Ability to operate machinery and equipment used in material processing.
- Knowledge of safety guidelines and protocols related to material processing.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attentional to detail
- Able to lift and move heavy materials.
- Ability to work in hot or cold temperature climates for extended periods.
Schedule:
1st Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
2nd Monday – Friday 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm
3rd Monday – Friday 11:00 pm – 7:00 am
Must be able to work overtime on the weekends occasionally
